On April 7, 2018, we held a “Spring Fling” at the popular Old Salt restaurant in Hampton, New Hampshire. The well-attended event raised about $2000 toward the cost of painting Portsmouth Harbor Lighthouse. Many thanks to all who donated silent auction items and raffle items, and to everyone who donated at the event!

The overall campaign to raise funds for the repainting has raised about $7000 toward a cost of $46,000.

Speakers included American Lighthouse Foundation Executive Director Bob Trapani, Jr.; Friends of Portsmouth Harbor Lighthouses Operations Manager Cindy Johnson; Friends of Portsmouth Harbor Lighthouses Vice Chair E.J. Warren; Friends of Portsmouth Harbor Lighthouses Secretary Dave Andreesen; York Youth Lighthouse Preservation Association President Sophie Blanchard; and Friends of Portsmouth Harbor Lighthouses Chairman Jeremy D’Entremont. Musical entertainment was provided by Shannachie and Neptune’s Car.
